The Annual Conference Planning Committee oversees the creation of the program for the annual conference, including soliciting, reviewing, and selecting presentations, selection of the preconference, keynote speaker, and invited panels.

Strategic Plan Priorities #4 - Enhance Member Professional Development & Services 

Committee Charges:

• Create an Annual Conference theme;
• Formulate conference objectives;
• Develop and implement a plan for enhancing existing or adding new programs that are responsive to member feedback and address current and prospective member needs;
• Propose a conference plan and suggestions for speakers;
• Facilitate coordination of preconferences, new attendees and presenter information;
• Prepare the call for abstract, the review and selection of sessions;
• Prepare the call for award, the review and selection of awardees.

The Curricular Leadership Committee advises on quality curricular design, new and emerging curricula, NP program and educational guidelines development, and competency development, revision and validation.

Strategic Plan Priority #1 - Advance the Transition to the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).

Committee Charges:

• Build resources for NONPF members as we implement new competencies;
• Collaboration with population specific professional organizations to describe the depth of each population’s educational preparation;
• A modifiable, example diagnostic reasoning course outline that is inclusive of learning outcomes, educational activities, and competency assessments;
• Develop materials for clinical organizations/consumers to understand the Implementation Guide Preamble;
• Review Simulation Committee output.

The Faculty Institute Committee oversees the fall conference, Leadership Mentoring Program and Webinar Series to meet the educational needs of NONPF members.

Strategic Plan Priorities #4 - Enhance Member Professional Development & Services

Committee Charges

• Propose and support implementation of fall conference program, including session topics and speakers, to enhance NP faculty performance in teaching, scholarship, leadership and service roles;
• Facilitate coordination of webinars that present a wide range of educational topics to promote faculty development and education that enhances NP student learning;
• Review post conference, webinar, and faculty institute evaluations to gain insights into member needs, educational topics of interest, and quality improvements to inform the development of a responsive programming plan;
• Assess NONPF’s current member resources, including existing toolkits, webinars, guidelines, courses, mentoring program, past and future conferences, and other member materials;
• Evaluate, strengthen, and expand the year-long Leadership Mentoring Program;
• Develop and implement a plan for enhancing existing or adding new programs that are responsive to member feedback and address current and prospective member needs.
  

The Finance, Capital Development and Marketing Committee is responsible for advising the organization on matters relating to finances and budget, developing revenue streams, establishing and maintaining endowments, and marketing the organization’s products.

Committee Charges:

• Review, revise and approve draft 2025 budget;
• Develop sponsorship and revenue partners;
• Ongoing review of investment activities;
• Develop and execute a robust financial strategy to grow organizational revenue through existing and new revenue streams.
  

The Inclusive Excellence Committee identifies best practices and resources for NP Faculty to provide strategic guidance in support of inclusive excellence.

Strategic Plan Priority #3 - Diversify & Expand Membership

Committee Charges:

• Identify best practices and faculty resources;
• Review the NONPF Call for Greater Racial Diversity in NP Education and develop and deploy products in support of the recommendations;
• Review of organizational DEIB statements with comparison to similar organizations. Develop recommendations in support of faculty;
  
• Engage in targeted marketing and recruitment efforts to attract diverse members, with an emphasis on race, gender, and ethnicity.                             

The Preceptor Development Committee provides leadership for initiatives that support faculty and clinical preceptor development.

Committee Charges:

• Develop evaluation tools for non-clinical evaluation project;
• Creative ways to recruit, maintain, and support preceptors;
• Collaborate with grant PIs to request and disseminate resources;
• Disseminate the work of the committee;                             
• Incorporate bias training and inclusive language training into the preceptor packet to address SDOH effectively. 

The Simulation Committee advises and engages on resources and evaluation tools to advance the use of simulation.

Committee Charges:

• Collaborate with partners to build evidence on the use of simulation in NP education;
• Identify and/or write case scenarios and establish content validity for these cases scenarios that identifies the critical elements and mapped/bundled to competencies;
• Develop criterion-based instruments for each cases scenario;
• Prior to case scenario publication, Simulation Committee materials will be reviewed and approved by CLC for alignment with CBE and CBA work of NONPF;
• Establish faculty resources.

The Telehealth Committee provides recommendations on telehealth education. Develops and curate resources to be used by the NONPF membership.
