NONPF Lifetime Achievement Awards

The NONPF Board of Directors nominates and selects the honorees for the NONPF Lifetime Achievement Award. In a year, the Board selects one or more honorees whose contributions have been visionary and stalwart in successfully developing and promoting the role of the nurse practitioner. Selection for the award requires that the individual or entity meet one or more of the selection criteria:

  1. Pioneered in and/or provided leadership of new programs, new models, specialties, or research related to nurse practitioners.
  2. Promoted the role of nurse practitioners through political, media, organizational, academic, and other processes.
  3. Attained leadership positions of distinction in the academic, government, and/or community arena.

The 2019 NONPF Lifetime Achievement Award Recipients

If you know of a NONPF member who meets the criteria and please contact Mary Beth Bigley, CEO NONPF.
