Despite acknowledging that nurse practitioners are a distinct profession and that post‑baccalaureate nursing meets statutory criteria, the Department’s decision ignores overwhelming evidence‑based input and bipartisan Congressional support. NONPF and its partners thank the NPs, faculty, and advocates who made their voices heard and remain committed to correcting this decision to protect NP education and access to care.
