Objectives: By the end of this presentation, nurse practitioner faculty will be able to

1) identify their target learners and level of learning to be attained;

2) describe the rationale for including addictions content in nurse practitioner education;

3) formulate ideas for curriculum development based the recommended topics along with examples of learning objectives and activities.
