Evelyn A. Stiner, PhD, FNP Chair, Department of Graduate Nursing Alcorn State University Dr. Stiner is the Chair of the Department
of Graduate Nursing at Alcorn State University in Natchez, Mississippi.
She has been responsible for starting a new FNP program, including development
and design, implementation, and accreditation. She participated as a
partner in the Robert Wood Johnson Partnership for Training project, providing
distance education for NPs, PAs, and CNMs from 1995-2000. As Chair of
the Department of Graduate Nursing, she also oversees a primarily web-based
Nurse Educator option.
Dr. Stiner has an extensive background in strategic planning, quality management, finance and productivity in service and education. She has experience as a service consultant in the following areas: productivity measurement; quality management design; strategic planning; financial accountability, and; accreditation preparation for acute care hospitals, rehabilitation units, clinics, and home health agencies. Her educational consulting has included: productivity measurement and work load distribution; quality management design; strategic planning; financial accountability; accreditation preparation; curriculum design, and; program evaluation. |
