Linda L. Lindeke, PhD, RN
Associate Professor
University of Minnesota

Linda Lindeke has been active in Nurse Practitioner education for over 25 years and is certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner by both the National Certification Board of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and Nurses and also the American Nurses Credentialing Center.  As an Associate Professor at the School of Nursing, University of Minnesota, Dr. Lindeke has been a core faculty member of the Nurse Practitioner programs funded by both the Division of Nursing and the Maternal and Child Health Bureau.  She has established new graduate programs and new tracks within graduate programs, and has moved some of her teaching to online course delivery for distant students.  She teaches all types of APNs in core courses, and teaches pediatric content in other courses.  She has taught distant students through both TV hook-ups and online courses, for which she has won a university-wide award.  Her doctoral dissertation focused on Master’s Nursing Education and she continues to do research on Advanced Practice Nursing.  She is active in state and national public policy arenas and has two sites of weekly faculty practice in pediatrics.
