NONPF Annual Recognition Awards

Each year, NONPF recognizes select members for exceptional achievement in the following categories: Outstanding Educator, Outstanding Faculty Practice, Outstanding Policy, Outstanding Researcher, Outstanding Service to NONPF, Preceptor Gold Star, and Friend of NONPF. Our honorees are chosen from nominations made by you, their peers.
We are currently seeking nominations for the 2010 NONPF Annual Recognition Awards. Do you know of NONPF member who exemplifies "Outstanding Educator" or a preceptor to whom you would award a gold star every time you saw them? We need you to highlight them for us.
Award categories and descriptions:
Individual Achievement Award Categories - eligible to NONPF members only
Outstanding Educator -for advancement of NP education in a particular area
Outstanding Faculty Practice - Demonstrated innovative practice that links with teaching and scholarship
Outstanding Policy - Development, implementation and advocacy for policies
Outstanding Researcher - Expansion of knowledge for NP practice, education & policy
Outstanding Service to NONPF - Promotion of the mission of NONPF
Additional Recognition Award Categories - open to non-NONPF members as well
Preceptor Gold Star Award - Exceptional preceptor for NP students
Friend to NONPF - Crusades for NONPF
The nomination process
In order to submit a nomination, we will need a few things from you. Please see the nomination form for criteria for a specific award. Each nomination should be submitted with:
- One page statement addressing how the nominee meets the eligibility criteria
- 2-3 letters of support for the nomination
- Nominee’s CV, or bio-sketch, emphasizing information relevant to the award
